This is by far THE worst experience I have ever had with a company. I placed an order for a washer/dryer combo on Home Elegance Center (HEC) and spent over $500. Of course, they charged my credit card and I was excited that my washer/dryer would be here within the next week or so. This was based on their statement that the product usually ships between "3-5 days". Two weeks passed. I called... And I called... And I called. I finally got a agent. I spoke with him and he apologized and agreed to refund half of my shipping and to expect my product in the next two weeks. I waited... And waited... And nothing. I called yet again... And called... And called. (Please note that when I say I "called" these are at least 30-60 minute waits on hold). So I finally reached another agent, she said that it was a warehouse issue, not HEC. I told her that that wasn't good enough and that I want to speak with a supervisor. She states that no supervisors were available and they would be returning my call shortly. The call never came. All along I have been leaving countless messages. So I e-mail them saying that I want compensation for this ridiculousness and no e-mail back.

E-mail sent May 26th:
To whom it may concern;This has been the most glaring display of lack of professionalism that I have ever seen. My order was placed on 4/21/10 and I still haven't received my product when I was told that it would be shipped within 3-5 days. When I call during business hours, I may spend over an hour before I just hang up out of frustration. I have spoken to two representatives within the last month and latter of the two promised that a supervisor would contact me shortly. Needless to say, this never happened. I am thoroughly disappointed in the level of customer service and the fact that I have not received a product that I have paid over $500 for is beyond comprehension. It is affecting my livelihood as I have to spend money at laundry mats at inflated prices. I would like to know how you all plan to compensate me for this awful, nonsensical ordeal and when my product is to arrive. If not, I expect a full-refund in a very timely manner. Thank you.

I still have not received my full refund. I didn't ask for shipping and handling charges returned, I asked for a full refund. I do not want anything to do with Home Elegance Center. This company is an embarrassment; it has been two months. If I do not receive my full refund in the next 10 business days, I will be contacting an attorney and a collection agency. Moreover, I will be writing poor reviews in every outlet possible and filing a complaint with BBB. You all should be ashamed of your lack of professionalism. Good day.

If possible, I would like to sue these people for everything that I could think of. This has to be illegal. I want interest lost on my credit card, I want my minute usage from my phone (Yes, I went over), I want compensation for my time, laundry mat bills. I don't know the law well enough to know what can be done but if I did not pay my bill, I'd be place into Collections and pay more that what my original bill was. I want the same deal. Any lawyers, please contact me! I want to really teach this company a lesson. I am a student and I don't have time to get the run around for a item that I paid for.

Sorry for the rant. Needless to say, if you have two months to spend waiting for a product that will never come, HEC is the company for you. If not, do not touch them with a thousand-foot pole. I should have known better when I saw the "5% Off Two Day Sale" lasted more than two days... It's been there over two months, too!
