This man: Johnathan Rodriguez, aka JROD, yourgraniteman.com, JROD Designs, apparently living in either Whittier or Norwalk and a graduate of Garfield High Shool in Los Angeles
took a $657.50 deposit for a granite countertop on June 2. He and his crew were to deliver and install the countertop on the morning of June 5. He did not show up and when contacted by phone on June 5, he made numerous excuses and later said he was on the way be at the house within 30 minutes. Couple hours later, I was finally able to reach him on the cell phone and he said he was stuck in traffic. He continued to make up more excuses before finally agreeing to meet on Monday and return the deposit.

Surprise surprise... He was a no show again. When again reached by phone on Monday, he said he'd return the deposit on Tuesday and again he's a no show.

At first I though that he was just another incompetent contractor.
