Alexander rodriguez took our deposit, started the job, and refused to finish after he did about 10% of the job

Alex Rodriguez of Artistic Architectural Finishes was contracted by me to refinish our pool and patio area. He led us to believe that he faux finishes areas to look like stone. I have him a deposit of $4,250 on a $8,500 job, after seeing a sample he provided to us. We asked him to do a test area first to make sure we liked what he did. He did a test area and it looked terrible. It looked nothing like stone. We asked for the return of our deposit and he refused. We asked him to attempt to fix what he did and he refused. He refuses to return our telephone calls and stole our deposit.
