Ductless Air Conditioning - We had Paul Najgebauer owner and operator of ductless.ca. He told us that he'd been in business since 1987 and that he was also a BBB accredited business. With that, we agreed to have him install a LG ductless air conditioning system. He said he was going to install the unit in the back of the home and we agreed.
By the time I got outside to check to see what was going on, the main unit was being installed in the front of the home, talk about eye sore.By the time I checked it was already too late. Originally, there were 4 large pipes that ran side by side and it was the most ugliest thing ever.
I then asked Paul to have it removed and installed in the back as he originally stated and we agreed upon. I point blank asked him what he thought of the work, and he said "It look like crap", and then I said "Would you want this done to your house?"
He said "no".
I told him to remove everything and move it to the back. He had told me he could do it for an extra cost of $500. Now he wants MORE MONEY!? (sigh) I told him to go ahead and do it.
Then he proceeded to tell me it would be a lot of work and that he would install covers to hide the pipes. At this point I had given him $5000 cash and had held back $500. I told him that I wouldn't give him the remainder of the money owing ($500) and he agreed.
He had told me he would come back with the covers the following week.
Paul NEVER showed up, and had the nerve to take the remainder $500 off of my Credit Card without authorization!!!
When I started looking into this man and his company I found out things that almost didn't surprise me based on how I was treated.
Paul Najgebauer HAS NOT BEEN IN BUSINESS SINCE 1987 and is BEHIND ON HIS PAYMENTS WITH THE BBB which he claims to be accredited.
I had to fight to get my money back, and eventually did. I also had to hire another company to fix the terrible job he did on my home. I would not recommend dealing with this company or this man at all.
