My friend went to Sears in Burlington, NC to purchase a weed eater. She found the price to be different from the price at another Sears location about 15 miles away. When she questioned the Sales Assoc. West about the price difference he became agitated. She asked for the manager. The manager Anthony came to the lawn and garden area and began to argue with my friend. During this argument regarding the price Anthony in turn became vulgar and called her a bitch. She states the store manager responded to her home and refunded her the money back for the weed eater and gave her a $100.00 gift card, but told her that Human Resources would not be taking any actions againt the manager Anthony due to the fact it was his first time calling anyone a bitch. I am livid for the fact that Sears has the nerve to say such a thing. So I guess if Anthony beat the crap out of someone in the store they would just pat him on the head and say" Oh, that's okay this was your first time". I have shopped at Sears for years; rest assurd I will not cross their threshold again.
