This Is It Furniture
Buy furniture... Assembly required, needing 2 or more people

If you want furniture that comes assembled, this is not the place to go. We had used this store several times in the past and had great service. I made the mistake of going back. I bought a futon frame, one coffee table and two end tables. I paid $65 to have it delivered. The husband and wife delivery team came on time, but made it a point to ask if we needed it put together. They said that it was an easy assembly... Not! The instructions state up front that it requires at least 2 or more people to assemble. I do many things well, but putting furniture together is not one of them. I paid for this furniture 3 weeks prior to delivery. I called the store the day after delivery and left a message... No call back. I emailed them as per their website... No response. We had to have one of our employees hand carry a message to the store just to get someone to call us back. I was promised last Friday that someone would be here Monday or Tuesday of the next week to put the furniture together... No one called, no one came. I still have boxes sitting in my living room. Our company for the Easter holiday had to step over the boxes. And I thought that I was planning ahead.
This Is It Furniture is great at selling their products, but lacks on the service end. Perhaps I should have invested in cushions to put on top of the boxes so that we could at least have somewhere to sit!
