I had a contract with America Home Shield for two-years. Each year I tried to get a major appliance fix. My dishwasher and my air condition unit. AHS turned down both repairs. AHS told me that my break downs was not normal wear and tear. I ask to fax over my service reports to show that I have been keeping my item serviced regularly. AHS would not accept any proof of a service reports, but they will accepted them to open a new contract or renew a contract.

AHS sub-contract out companies that write bad reports on your home items. They already know that they aren't going to repair what needs to be fix. They (AHS) have you waiting for a service tech for days and then you pay $45.00 for each trade that is being serviced and you know that they are going to denie your service repairs.

I have tried to cancel my contract for the last two-years and so you know I finally had to close out my bank account to stop AHS from drafting my account. They would not cancel my contract. They gave me the run around like, I had called in for another major item to be repaired!
Do not ever purchase anything from American Home Shield. The customer service department is from HELL, they don't care that you are paying $376.00 a year and $45.00 per service call.
