Larsons Doors and Locks, dishonest company

My 60 year old mother, who has had much experience with homes and Larson doors, recently purchased 2 new storm doors for her home. Upon having the doors installed, she realized that the doors did not adequately seal around the frame. Three weeks into having the doors installed, the rubber gasket on the door sweep fell off. Living in Illinois, the winters are very harsh, so my mother called Larson right away to have the issue resolved. Mind you, the older, original door that she replaced, did not have this issue.
When she first called she was told that a rep would be calling her, and for her to call and independent contractor in the meantime and get an inspection. The contractor found several defects in the construction of the ($400.00) door, and saw nothing wrong with the way the door was installed. The end conclusion was the door was defective and poorly constructed. When my mother called Larson back with the contractor's opinion, she was told the the door sweep was "like a windshield wiper, and needs to be replaced", the door was only 3 weeks old! She was also told that they will send her the parts, and my mother would have to hire a contractor to do the installation.
After numerous phone conversations, she has received nothing but aggravation and poor customer service. Not to mention that now she has blankets around her door.
This to me is disturbing, there is no loyalty or sense of urgency.
Larson does not, an will not stand behind their product.
