After patiently waiting 1 week (the earliest I could get an appointment) for a techncian to show up "between 1 and 4", I got a call at around 3 saying the tech was running behind and would be here betwen 4 and 5. At 5 pm I called the service center and was told I'd get a call back. The tech called 30 minutes later to say he doesn't have the part and would have to order it and I'd have to wait 3 days for the part to come in. Needless to say I am beyond upset. I called the service center the next morning and was informed that techs don't know the nature of the call until 1 hour before the call. My question is then, why doesn't the service center, upon getting a call, determine what parts if any are needed, and send the tech out with the part the FIRST TIME? Obviously, the tech knew which part was needed just by looking at the complaint because HE NEVER SHOWED UP AT MY HOUSE TO LOOK AT THE WASHER! I now have 3 weeks worth of laundry and every sears bot I spoke with pretty much told me they couldn't care less. I am determined to get the word out about Sears and their lousy customer service!
