Purchased the The Wet Set 59574 My Baby Float and while my baby was in the pool the piece between her legs broke and she went under the water. She could have drowned

My husband and I purchased the The Wet Set 59574 My Baby Float from Intex Recreation. We placed our 9 month old daughter in the tube and the piece in between the leg area which is suppose to hold the baby in place snapped and she went right under the water! Thank God my husband and I were there or she would have drown.

I called Intex right away advising them of the problem that happended and suggest that put a recall on the The Wet Set 59574 My Baby Float. The CSR was extremeley rude and I asked to speak with a manager and she hung up on me.

I then proceeded to call the company back and they did not see my side of the story and suggested that I return it for a new one. Why would I return this if it nearly cost my daughter her life. I am posting this because I want to make sure nobody makes the same mistake we did.
