Sleazy Sales Tactics

I named Empire Today and had a sales consultant come to get a free carpet installation estimate. He was an incredibly quick talker and match the stereotypical salesman identity: fast-talking, pretty clever, etc. He rapidly started showing me examples, and created a clear drive toward the more costly rug, and nonchalantly dismissed the "poor" items. After calculating, he offered mean original estimate of $4,300 for anything. I balked at his present, whilst the room was an unfurnished 950 square-foot room upstairs. After producing some phony telephone calls to his "supervisor, " he offered me another cost for $2,200! Are you kidding me! Just how can there be this type of large cost difference?! I quickly recognized this salesman was doing offers and that I didn't need any section of it. I expected him for an itemized breakdown of the price and work costs, and he explained "we-don't do our payment this way, " which appeared excessively peculiar. Then he attempted to stress me by informing me it costs his organization $500 to come quickly to my home which he'll not return; or may I maintain his estimation and contact him back when I'm much more comfortable. Their go or abandon it position appeared extremely unprofessional. I wound up choosing a little Mother & Place Rug Shop near my home, which provided me better rug, heavier support, & most notably, a much better cost. Do not contact Kingdom Today!
