Bob Davis Home Greedy Builde

Bob Davis did not finish building our house in Johnson City, TX. The house was about half done when be because very greedy and just left the job site. He also stole money form the construction trust fund.

Bob Davis owes his an additional $4500 for money we gave him to get started on the house and for flagstone he was to have purchased for us. The part of the house he did build was very shoddy. The roof leaked as it was not finished due to the fact he did not pay the roofer. There was no plug for the dishwasher or master tub. I was suppose to have flagstone in my sunroom but he did not make allowances for the door so there could be no flagstone. The cabinets were not done correctly. There was not enough room for the refrigerator. You could not open the oven door.

There were several broken windows which he said he would fix and he did not. There were numerous plumbing problems and electrical problems which had to be corrected. He took money for clean-up around the job site and he never cleaned up anything. The house was started in mid Feb. 2002. It is now June and it is still not done. The new builder has been correcting defective work. This has cost us much extra money as he stole what was left in the construction trust fund leaving us no money to finish the house.

Just beware of this builder. He will probably be building again in the near future in the Austin/Spicewood, TX area. He can not be trusted. I am not the only person he has ripped off in this area. All of this was done in the name of greed to build himself a very fancy house. Just remember this name... Bob Davis Homes or Robert S. Davis. He can not be trusted to do what he says he is going to do. He has a friend named Minton Newman who used to work for him. This man can not be trusted either.
