Increase Notice At Will With No Warning

Just received an increase notice from ADT indicating that my monthly bill is going up 6.5% per month. This is to maintain their high level of service. Funny it took 7 minutes for they to answer the phone when I called in. It would be nice to have this defined properly. Their service has been horrible ever since we signed the contract. We should of generated our own home security system for the money we have spent. I am sure it can be done. Red flag is the cancellation fee to break the contract is like $600 dollars. If someone has a high level of service they should not worry about customers wanting to cancel their contracts and leave. We were told that there would be scheduled maintenance checks, replacement of batteries, etc etc. Read this. THERE IS NO SUCH THING! You pay a huge amount of money every month for almost no service at all. You would think that when you do need something they would be a little more responsive. It is like paying for cable tv service without the cable.
