The rod and gears are coated with something. This coating is flaking off and getting into our food. I have tried to get replacement parts. Aftr 7 months, 8 phone calls and two cancelled (by Ronco) orders I am making others aware of the dangerous flaking problem. Do Not order the product if you plan to use it. Customer service has a unintelligable Indian accent and will yell at you for not understanding them. I will be discarding both Rotissries at a substantial loss.
