In December I bought a house warranty from Nationwide Home Guarantee (NHW). Used to do not document any statements.in March I approached NHW about stretching the guarantee another year since I'd obtained an offer from another organization. I chose to restore my guarantee with NHW (D-108944) and compensated entirely for that year ($322.94). On December 28 I returned home after being eliminated per week and found the heat wasn't functioning. About the day of December 29 I contact NHW at 1-888-500-2110 and documented the heat was out. I had been educated that NHW might contact something specialist. Mustang Plumbing Inc. Named a couple of hours later plus they might deliver a specialist out that morning. About 2 pm something specialist (G.W.) came and examined the system. He decided the device must be changed. He explained that the great device can last two decades which one in 28 yrs old. He named NHW and advised them of the and offered them an estimation for alternative, NHW claims it had been $825. He was educated that it had been being set "under evaluation" so he quit. A couple of hours later I named NHW again to determine that which was being completed since it was chilly and that I was without warmth. I had been educated that NHW required the preservation documents and since I did not have any (the filter is just a lasting filter that I clear every additional week) I'd need to substitute the machine myself and publish the bill for compensation. I named Mustang Plumbing back and requested them in the future substitute the machine. The next evening (12/30/08) they returned and that I had them substitute the whole system since the A/D was just like aged whilst the heat. The bill was $3500 that we settled. On 12/31/08 I sent the bill to NHW. On 1/15/09 I named to confirm the standing of my state and was recommended by Casey Wiggins that NHW was just likely to spend $100. NHW is meant to pay for as much as as much as $1500 per-unit based on the agreement. The agreement doesn't declare I should have maintenance records. I actually do my very own preservation and also the specialist stated that the system seemed well-maintained and had survived considerably longer than anticipated. He supplied a declaration the issue was because of age and never insufficient preservation.

I submitted a using the BBB and today NHW says my state is refused (thus much for that $100). They informed the BBB when I'd supplied proof the device was preserved they might have caused me. That's not the case since I did so give a declaration in the specialist they sent that it had been preserved.
