Home Warranty Services Scam, liars, thieves, stealing money for services not rendered

HMS, a "home warranty" company was purchased for us by our realtor. Our AC unit was serviced by our normal technician during a routine maintenance. He found burnt wires and leaking R-22, freeon and said it was a fire hazard to keep it running. We contacted HMS immediately and filed a claim 6199363 with "Claim Supervisor Jason Sapp". He sent out one of HMS's technician's, "Residential Services" who stayed for less than 5 minutes, took pictures of dust around the unit and left. I stopped him at the door pointing out the leak and burnt wires that he neglected to put on the service ticket. HMS called me within an hour to tell me my claim was denied due to neglect. I faxed over my ticket from our former technician stating it was not due to neglect but mechanical failure and he refused to look at it or acknowledge it, hung up the phone and failed to return our calls for days.

This company is a scam in that they take your money and lie about why they can't pay for legitimate repairs and they use contractors to lie for them which is even more disturbing. I haven't been able to get anyone at HMS to call me back for days and no one cares we have no heat in a snow storm.

If anyone is seeking a class action suit against them, please contact me as I will sign on.
