Dishonest and Deceptive sales and service practices

I would like to warn anyone who is considering purchasing an alarm system to by all means avoid ATD Security Systems.

We have experienced harrassment from their billing department calling at all hours of the day including weekends to collect monies that were not due. These monies were to be paid upon completion of the installation of our system, but we were charged and billed even though the work was not completed.

Once I contacted the regional sales manager, Norris, to stop the calls he assured me that harassment would stop. However, it has continued and we have now begun to get collection letters even though we have paid in full the amount that the regional sales manager said was our balance.

The " professional " installers were inept and ded damage to the new home we were building, which I had to correct. One the system was activated a part of it failed to operate properly, and because the "system" showed that we were in "the rears" on our bill they refused to send someone to fix the problem, even though we have pais over $2,000 to have the system installed, so now our home is not fully alarmed as we have contracted with ADT to preform.

Thay have failed on their part of the contract and refuse to act in a timly manner to rectify the problem.in the last 45 days I have invested about 6 hours on the phone with the company, and have been promised on numerous ocassions to have the problems fixed, but to no avail.

I would strongly caution anyone who is considering an alarm system to avoid ADT at all costs.
