Installation fee ripoff

I went to Custom Car Sounds on Main St in Ventura CA to find a security system for my daughters' 2006 Dodge Caliber. They recommended a particular system that I paid for and my daughter would bring the car in later.
The alarm was installed and every time the car was locked the alarm would go off. My daughter took the car back 6 times and they were unable to resolve the problems. The kept my daughter waiting for hours including one visit for 7 hours. The last straw came on Jan 4. My daughter has an appoitment at 9am and the had changed there hours so they would not be open until 10am. They did not call and my daughter subsequently missed work.

The end result is they could not fix the problem and they removed the system.

Now comes the rip off.

They said they would not refund the installation cost because the system was not faulty. SO they kept $100 of my money. So they recommend a system that doesn't work and that they can't fix and I have to pay for this incompetance. This company is a rip off and I would highly recommend that this business be avoided. People go to companies like this for recommendations of equipment and installation and repairs. Obviously these people don't know what they are doing. They blame the car for the problems. Well they are in the business to know what alarm systems and what vehicles are compatable. If they don't know that they should not be installing systems.

Anyway, I intend to try and recoup my money and to make everyone aware of the CUSTOM CAR SOUND INSTALLATION RIP OFF
