Rock Tops
B.S. That customers were fed before closing

Construction & Repair

Over the past few weeks I've been reading about how many customers were told about how a machine broke and that's why you were not getting your order. That was a bunch of crap. Rock tops had 6 operational "Titan" CNC's and one "Intermac" CNC. During the week before closing on the "Intermac" CNC the spindal was taken out and packaged for shipping. However, that machine was old as dirt and very slow. The management began to lessen the load on that machine because in the time that it took to do one job a "titan" CNC could get two jobs done.

However, it's very interesting how on the last day that rock tops was open, Park Industries, whom we got the "titan" CNC's from showed up to disassemble and take three of the CNCs back to Minnesota. There is no way that we could have kept up with the demand with only three machines, and like I said it's very ironic that Park showed up excatly on that day to start taking them back.

Also, another interesting thing, is for the installs on that last day there were no supplies for the install crews. Supplies like Epoxy for seams and Silicone, we just didn't have any and none was on order. We had to scrape up whatever we had just do get those jobs done.

Another thing that was going on that last Friday was that it was a complete free-for-all. Prior to this if an employee wanted a scrap piece of granite for themselves they had to talk to Charlie and more then likely pay for it and if you wanted an edge detail on it or a bowl cut you had to pay regular price. Well, on that last Friday, a few management and employees were getting vanities cut and ran on the CNC's like they were paying customers and they didn't pay a dime. Something, that was unheard of prior to all this. When I asked W.T.F. Was going on I was told it was a "Fire Sale". So management knew that this was going to happen. Not to mention one of the managers had actually brought in a black vanity sink that he would had to have ordered ahead of time. So, is that a hint that maybe he knew about this a few days before it happened... Possibliy.

This is just more information that I hope that the Macomb County Sheriff Department would find useful in it's determination if this was a planned event. When I went in there to file a report they just wanted to know about me and my situation however if they talk to the ex-employees they could maybe piece together more of the story and what was going on in the inside.
