Former Rock Tops Employee Lost Wages, Lost Sleep... Apologizes to customers

First I want to say how sorry I am to the people that trusted me, placed orders for granite and lost their money. I too am a victim in this. I worked over 90 hours from December 7th to December 19th and there apparantly are no paychecks for employees. It is hard to understand how a company like this can just go out of business overnight. The owners had postings as late as Dec 13th saying how great the company was doing. They had to of known what was going on. Most of my customers did pay with credit cards, so I am hopeful that they will get their money back.

I found out on December 19th that the doors were closing and to leave the building. I did manage to personally deliver to countertops to customers that day. I didn't want them to be out of money and their countertops were in. I also called most of the customers I could find numbers for to tell them about the situation and to make sure they called their credit card companies.

I truly apologize to those that placed orders with me and did not get their countertops. I put my heart and soul into selling to you and cannot believe this happened.
