Shoddy workmanship and terrible service with warranty and property questions

I would never reccomend a community built by this builder to anyone. The builder has left the community with a number of issues such as multiple busted pipes, broken fence, warped awnings on almost every single unit, peeling paint, dumped garbage, non-functioning fire hydrants, etc.in addition to these issues, the builder/developer has been absolutely horrible to work with for individual warranty issues. It takes numerous emails to even get a reply which are usually short, rude, and unproductive. Also, there are many issues that should be covered under the Builder's warranty (according to documentation they provided!) that they now claim isn't covered. There is no one who will actually speak to me on the phone. I am so disapointed with my home purchase and would move if the housing market wasn't in the situation it is. On top of all of this, the builder has left the HOA with a $20,000 debt for the submeters on each unit. We as homeowners already paid for the fixtures & equipment in our homes when we signed the sales contract! Buyer beware of Creekside Communities... They are miserable and you will regret your decision if you buy from them.
