Toxic mold cover up! Why Disclose Toxic Mold When You Can Just Hide It With New Sheetrock?

Bermuda Gardens Community, located in Myrtle Beach South Carolina has 108 residential lots with about 8 homes currently built. WHATEVER YOU DO - STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!
We purchased a home in Bermuda Gardens and within months discovered mold throughout the house. We reported it to the homeowner association and the builder, BTS Construction, Inc. The builder told me that there had been no mold issues in any of the houses in the community before and that he was shocked. He sent out a few people to clean the areas. But, simply cleaning visible areas does absolutely nothing to stop the cause of the mold.
He said the interior doors were too low to the floor and cut them off. But since that time the relative humidity has remained 85% and has never been below 64% in my house which is way above the recommended numbers.
After speaking with other homeowners here I learned that this MOLD problem is actually running throughout several homes here as well as homes in the Bermuda Bay Community - also built by BTS. I have seen photographs of walls that were ripped out showing the MOLD that were then simply covered up mold with new sheetrock by this builder.
Both the management at Bermuda Gardens, the developer, the realtor and the builder were clearly aware of these building problems prior to my purchase and never once disclosed this to me or my wife.
I asked the builder to provide me with his General Liability Insurance contact information and he has refused to give it to me.
Since we purchased this home, the manager of Bermuda Gardens, our realtor, the developer have left.
I have come to the conclusion that I have lost hundreds of thousands of dollars in this Bermuda Gardens trap, but whatever you do...
Please stay as far away from this place as possible.
