In May we came across Sumeer houses I mean homes we live in Oxford Ranch in Waxahachie, Texas, we have had a time getting our home "finished". I am begininng a book here.

We met with the salesperson and he seemed very helpful and not too high pressuerd but reassurring that we could get what we wanted and needed, at first all went well, but as constuction began I caugt things that were not right in the framing I had to ask studds be nailed better and that at 1 point they put a whole wall up that was not to be there, they fixed that. Several weeks later I decided to go to the house b-4 brick work began that day I got there about 4:30A.M. And the wrong color mortar was about to be used, I made a call to my salesmen and got a call back about 8am, they fixed that. Here and there little things were not right but we resolved them a little give on my part but anyway, we finally moved in 7 months later.

At the walk thru some cosmetic items were fixed but not all, "they employee the worst painters in the world" we still have alot of OOP'S on hand.
Now I will just make bullet points...

. Most trim was installed with damage in the wood i.E. Nail marks hammers indents and over all poor looking work.

. AC took 7 calls to get balanced
. 4 times the "painters" came out
. 4 windows had to be replaced due to bad instillation by the framers
. Office doors where replaced, not the correct ones installed
. Several cracked tiles
."popped nails in dry wall
. Wrong oven was installed after we pre-paid for upgrade
. Top of the line carpet they offered looks like its been here 5 years that we pre-paid for and was told if its not a defect we would pay $150. Oo for visit

. Septic system stinks inside and out even though we follow manufcature guidlines.

Well thats all I think, we feel that we have been very patient and fair most of our problems are now fixed but my only two neighbors have not.

Sumeer has some good concepts but they are not there yet they NEED customer service and a commitment. Keep the promise they have made

One last thing FIRE Miron and give Derrick a raise he did the best he could do!

This is our home our 30 year commitment, the place we will raise our family, memories, goodtimes and bad, birthdays, anniverserys, marriages, births and deaths all these will be experiesed in these houses, that we call home.
