Absolute Cool absolutely BURNT ME!

Bill" shows up late in his own pickup truck with little equipment except a freeon tank. Tinkers with my outside A/C unit, gives me a load of BS about "venting" etc, leaves me a business card that doesnt even say Absolute Cool on it. No professional invoice, nothing. Bill must be in his 70's and he was referred to me by my "we dont cover that" HOA so I wrote him a check for 130.00. Since Bill was'nt in his regular service truck he didnt have tubing, fasteners, tape, caps or whatever to address an obvious coolant leaking issue. He said he would come back the next day and finish the job. Two days later, after 48 hours of running at 70 degrees it feels hot and the thermostat reads 81. I look at the unit and iced chunks of freeon are leaking out of the tube. I call him up using the non Absolute Cool business card. He doesnt sound thrilled I called him on a weekend night but I explain the situation. He says he will stop by to "take a look at it" but it was clear he was trying to play me off. I put a stop payment on the check I foolishly wrote him 2 days before.
