Litehouse Pools
Wrong installation

I purchased and paid for my pool in full during the first week of April. Because of their incompetence in what needed to be done, my wife has made at least 50 different phone calls between Litehouse, OUPS and the Litehouse contracted installer. After 3 weeks, the pool was finally installed, and this was after the installer initially balked on the depth we wanted (even though we were paying him extra for this). We had the electric lines installed, and finally the city inspector comes out to inspect. He doesn't pass us because the pool was installed over electrical lines (albeit 3 feet underground). Our only options are moving the pool (not a viable option in my opinion) or splicing and routing the electric lines around the pool. Litehouse refuses to pay for this because "it's not their fault". Their rationale is that we should have known the codes, not the installer. We have no experience with pools, and Litehouse's answer to this was "maybe the installer has never dealt with this either". They feel they are not responsible for moving the lines, but will move the pool. However, they will not pay me back for the water that has already been used to fill the pool, nor will they pay to put my yard back together the way it was prior to the installation. So who is wrong here, me or Litehouse? My salesman even said to me he didn't know the pool couldn't be installed over electric lines, so how am I supposed to know that? Should I contact a lawyer?
