Pool installed in violation of National Electrical code

Company had installed a swimming pool two years prior to me purchasing the home. Upon inspection by a master electricion, it was found that the groundings on the pool were not only not up to code, but appear to be non-existant. The code written for swimming pool installation are there for a reason, they are basicly rules that electrictions are to follow and are mandatory. These codes are written to insure the safety of those in, and around the swimming pool. Pools and More was notified of the problem and declined to repair the problem because the pool was "out of warranty".

When electrical codes that are supposed to assure our safety as consumers are not followed, then the pools can only be deemed as unsafe, as it was by a master electrician who found the problem.

If you live in Paris Texas, or a surrounding area such as powderly, bogata, reno, idabel or bonham, and have had a pool installed by pools and more, please educate yourself to the National Electrical Code article 380 (pool and spa electrical code), if you suspect that your pool or spa does not meet these codes, consider having it inspected by a master electrician.
