This company is rediculous! Do not build with them! My financial status was once great and is now shredded!

Vista Home Builders! What a sweet, caring, nice and responsible company. NOT!!! I am currently in the process of filing bankrupt because I built an almost $800,000.000 home that one year later, I CANT EVEN GET APPRAISED AT $500,000.000!!! This company is ridiculously overpriced! And you can't get an honest statement out of one of them!

I have had property out in the acreage for over 10 years and seen the builders come and go but I thought I would take a chance on this company and built the home of a lifetime! Boy was i wrong! This is possibly the stupidest thing I have ever done going with them! They have destroyed my credit. The initial price they gave me for my home was $99.99 per square foot, including all of the upgrades I had purchased on their Brentwood model, which then SOARED to over $113.75 per square foot. The thing being I had already been approved for the loan and the contract was signed. So, we got rid of our ideas of having a beautiful pool to cover the astronomical increases that occurred due to this company.

They have ripped me apart financially and spit me out. Thanks to them, I am losing my custom home, my hardware store that I run and my shoe size is more than my credit score!!! Do not go anywhere near this company with your money, your time, or your precious hopes that in the end of it all, you will have a beautiful custom hope all of your own, because I did, and I sincerely regret it.
