Federal Moving Van Lines
Do not hire them! Dishonest "broker"

April 29 I contact Federal Moving Van Lines in reference to a moving qoute that I recieved online. Brian told me that my move would be 1500 no matter what the weight. And he told me that there was no money due at pickup. He also has a website that says 100% refund in case of Inconvenience. Well the movers came that he found and loaded all of my things and then demanded 875.00 after I was told no money at pick up. Then the price that was agreed on was raised 861.00. So I contacted Brian and told him because the actual movers would nothing to help me. Brian told me that he was going to help me recover some of my money and help to get Supreme Van Lines to take responsibility for the money and the things that were lost and broken.

So I have been in contact with Brian MANY times throughout this whole thing and all I get is call me back Im working on it. Now he has started hanging up on me everytime I call. Or he will answer the phone and say "Movers" and when I say "Hi Brian" he says "Your have the wrong number" I have been in contact with the FMCSA and he is no where to be found with a DOT number which you have to have to be a broker. So then I call Mayflower because on his website he says he is associated with Mayflower and it turns out he is not. They call it the little companies trying to "piggy back" off the huge names.

The address that he uses is a residential address and the 800 number is registered to a grocery store in NY and he says he is in NC. There is a lot that doesnt add up here with this guy and he WILL rip you off. PLEASE dont use Federal Moving Van Lines. This has been a HUGE costly lesson to us and I really just want to help someone else who might come in contact with this guy. Do your research because as Im finding out there are alot of scammers out there Like this.
