Poor concrete work at an average price

We first met Dave from Art of Concrete at a home show. After looking at his work and inviting him to our home to give us an estimate, we had choose them to put in a simple back porch that was to be stamped and colored. Needless to say we choose poorly. What we received was the worst customer service, after the deposit of course, a torn up lawn and concrete work that resembled a jr. High project... One that was awarded a D grade. They were to start the project a full month before they actually broke ground, and the total time frame was 2 1/2 days. The real time frame ended up being 2 weeks and 3 days. The entire point of getting the new porch was to have the water run away from the house; mission failed. I always did want a lake by my home, just not up against my back door. There are cracks throughout the entire surface and we won't mention much about the boot print in the middle of the whole thing. The side walk that we had, note i said had, was nice. It was not new, but it had no cracks and was level. I guess Dave was not happy with the placement of the side walk. He decided to move it 2 inches towards the house and place several large cracks thoughout it. I guess for character. It now has a slant to it as well. All in all, I would sooner hire a band of tech school drop outs to do any other concrete work around my home. The work would still be terrible, but I will atleast save some money that way.
