Still have not received my property!

I hired Authorized Movers after researching moving companies online for my move from West Virginia to Arizona. After speaking with Mike on the phone several times and never having any problems getting in touch with him, I made my reservation and put 1/2 down. This was 2 months before my scheduled move.

I scheduled pickup for May 29th and had no problem with it, other than the drivers were late. I didn't have a problem with that because they called a few times, informing me that they were going to be late. The drivers that picked up my property were efficient and friendly, no problems on that end.

I was never given a delivery date, just a time frame of when my property would arrive. I was told it would take 9-11 business days, which I didn't have a problem with. June 10th came and I still hadn't heard anything about delivery, which would have been 9 business days. I called the company and spoke with Joey who proceeded to tell me that my items were in storage in New Jersey. This is when the problems started.

Joey informed me that the dispatcher out of New Jersey was out of the country and that my things would leave there soon. He told me he would call me at the end of the week and give me an update. He never called. It is now July 3rd and I still do not have my things.in fact, I can't even get information on where my items are. I call them at least once a day, trying to get information. Raphael, who I speak to daily, is the only person that has consistently answered the phone when I call and calls me back but he says he can't find anything out.

I contacted the Attorney General and Department of Transportation who told me that since I did not have a delivery date, they have 30 business days to get my property to me, which will be Friday, July 11. I do not think I'm going to receive my property and have to start all over again. I came to Arizona with what would fit in the trunk of a Honda Civic, which isn't very much. I was told to call the Dade County Sheriff's Office by the DOT and am probably going to have to hire an attorney to get any type of reimbursement from them for my property. I don't want to have to do that and I just want my property.

My account has been paid in full since the Monday after they picked up my property. It would have been paid sooner, but driving cross country takes a few days. I believe that they have lost my things and no one is telling me. I don't want to have to go to the trouble of hiring an attorney but I don't feel that I'm going to have a choice. Until next Friday, I will continue to call them 2-3 times a day and maybe I will get an answer.

I would highly advise people to not hire this company. I was informed that they are a multi-million dollar company. If that's the case, they should be able to get people's property to them in a timely manner. If I received my property or receive it within the next week, I won't have a problem with them but until I can get answers or my property, I'm extremely angry.

Do not hire this company!!!
