Built a community Cherry Grove Condominium that is not up to City or State Code

Good Morning,

I am a former Marine that was medically discharged and am writing you because one of our local builders of Cherry Grove Condominium built a community that is not up to City or State Code.in fact, the City of Canton has admitted they should not have passed the inspection and now is trying to issue a Code Violation five years after the fact. Normally, this would be a cut and dry issue however when the violation was leaked the developer went to their current construction site and modified the desks to pass.

Finally, it is going to cost Cherry Grove over $250,000.00 to rebuild the decks (some of the boards are built into the frame of the condo). This community is plagued by foreclosures and this will one time assessment of $2,500.00 will result in at least 5-9 more foreclosures.

After medical discharge from the Marines I spent my severance to purchase this condo, now I am financially strapped and can not sell - but with this latest fee can not afford to live their either.

Also, there are many other reports of building defects and code violations on these condos and the developer. What is going to happen when all these homes go into foreclosures and we are out on the streets?

Please Help-The City of Canton should help and this is another blow to a terrible housing market - because we can not just sell...
