Shorted me $500.00 on my security deposit on two rented houses

I rented 2 houses through First Village Rentals. One house for the month of April. The second house was rented by me for my daughter for one week in April. The house we rented for one week was not ready (had not been cleaned and linen was not washed) until 3 days after the contractual arrival date. My daughter and grandchildren slept on the floor of our rented house while waiting for their house to be readied for occupancy.
After several phone calls and verbal abuse from First Villages' owner First Village Rentals' representative, Tammi, left a voice mail message on my cell phone that they would be crediting our account 3 days since by contract the house was not ready for occupancy.
We left the two houses immaculate; vacuumed, dusted, and washed the linen. We took pictures of each room at each house to confirm the clean condition.
After returning to the west coast, I called several times for the status of our security deposit return and the 3 day credit. It wasn't until 5/31/07 that we received credit checks. First Villages charged almost double the contactual cleaning charge and did not return any credit for the 3 days my daughter's house was not ready for occupancy. They even had the audacity to charge a $90.inconvenience fee regarding my daughter's house.
First Village is a company that operates in a hidden office—their address is a rented mail box in a mail/packaging store. It was impractical for me to go to their office and confront them about the rental experience and obtain written confirmation of their agreement to the 3 dayd credit.
Out of state renters should beware of renting form First Village Rentals since they know you have a very difficult time getting to them. Hindsight suggests that any company working with the public who doesn't have a listed physical office has something to hide.
