We feel you should know that the First Village Rentals staff was very unprofessional when we needed to check into your home on the first night we arrived. They have since continued to demonstrate their lack of professionalism.in fact, it has become so prominent that we felt we really needed to let you know about it.

We had paid them an extra $105.45 to arrive one evening earlier than the contract stated. As you can see from the copy of our email from them we were to arrive at 4:00pm on March 1. We faced some problems with traffic on route 95 and did not arrive at your home until 7:00pm.

When we arrived there were cleaning people just beginning to clean the house. We called JR at First Village Rentals to ask what had happened. He was extremely abusive to us on the telephone. The conversation was very upsetting to both of us as JR ranted on and on about how we should be grateful that someone was cleaning the house for us. He also said that he wished he could go out to dinner while someone cleaned his house. JR said that we should leave and go to a motel. We said that was not going to happen. Toward the end of the conversation JR said that because we complained we were to leave two days earlier than we had agreed upon. He then hung up on us.

We left and went to the Square, ate dinner and returned at 11:00 at night. When we returned the hot water had been turned off. Fortunately we knew how to turn it back on.

We left two days early rather than risk having JR coming to the house and continuing the verbal abuse that he started when we got there. Jane knows we left early because we had told her the entire harassment story.

The contract stated we would get the $500 security deposit less $190 for cleaning and resort processing fees back within 30 days. We had not received the check by April 28th so Lee called First Villages and they said the check was in the mail. This went on for several weeks. After many phone calls and many excuses we received a check for $109.00. We were so amazed that JR did this. He charged for the two nights at the end of the stay that we never used since he told us to get out.
His secretary Tammi also mislead us by saying the "check was in the mail".
