Aqua Technology - Basement Doctor
Classic Bait and switch, then overcharged and refused to send refund

Aqua Technology used the hard sell approach for months and months after I initially decided against their estimate. They called incessantly, then came to the house and cut the estimate dramatically. Foolishly, I agreed.

When the job was finished, I realized that the new lower price was for a smaller job. They did not work on an entire wall in my basmement. When I complained, I was met with a 'tough guy' attitude - they basically said 'tough, that is what you agreed to, there's nothing you can do about it.'

After reluctantly giving up that fight, I realized they overcharged my account over $2000. They had my credit card on file and double-charged it again and again (never give this company your credit card info). Six months of trying to get a refund and they still owe me money. When I call to inquire they hang up on me, give me the run around, anything but actually sending a refund check. Actually, they did send one check but it bounced.

Avoid this company at all costs. I can honestly say this is the worst experience I have ever had as a consumer.
