Four months and over $400.00 no custom shades!

We ordered Levelor custom Roman shades from Home Depot in August. We waited over a month for install. Once it arrived there was a broken ring cord to pull up shades was broken. Second, there were missing
clips/handle to pull up shades. Third, shades did not line up correctly and had no pleats as in the showroom model.

Home Depot central installed was informed and they said replacement would be made by manufacturer. After checking a month later (November or late October?) no records were noted to reorder. Home Depot apologized and reordered.

In December, new shades arrived and again same defects were found! Installers noted defects and Home Depot Central Install was informed. We asked for refund/credit option or as alternative replace shades from new manufacturer.

After waiting a period of time, we heard no response from Home Depot. We went to store and returned shades and asked for credit and use it for shades from another manufacturer.

As of now, we have no shades, no money and just lack of resposibility by Home Depot. Each person from manager to customer service will no take resposibility or take any action. Moreover, Home Depot will not do anything until 3rd party installers will return defective shades which they have not. The moral of the story: DO NOT BUY FROM HOME DEPOT OR LEVELOR.

Our last recourse to get our money back from the credit card company.
