Ripoff distributorship scam, no service, deceptive company

I wanted to build a house out here in San Diego. I decided to use the Tri-Steel framing system. I called them and they suggested that if I buy their distributorship then I would get a 40% discount on the frame and be refunded the distributorship money at the time of purchase.

I didn't have the $10,000.00 for their distributorship so they said I could pay half now and the other half after I got my construction loan in place. Since I was going to get the money refunded back when I bought it, I agreed and they charged $5000.00 to my credit card. The agreement I signed said that they would provide me with any assistance I needed, at my expence of course. So I asked them to help me find a contractor that would work with their framing system since I couldn't find one. He said O.K. He would call me back but he never did.

I called again 2 days later and asked him again and expressing the urgency of the request because time was running out on escrow. He again never called me back and I was forced to cancel escrow and the entire project.

I called the owner on August 21st and told him what happened and asked if I could get my money back. He said "giving money back is not his policy". He asked me to call him back in 10 days and he would try to help me so I did but he won't take my phone calls. I leave mesages but no reply. Thus my problem. I gave them 5000 dollars and all I got was promises and a box of sales literature.
