Entire Order Still Not Received After 9 Months Internet

This company sells rustic furniture online. I ordered a bed and some wax from the company on 1/5/07. They said it would only take 8 weeks to ship. I waited about 12 weeks before finally contacting the company. The phone number just goes to a voice mail that is not returned. Through e-mail the company kept telling me that the order had been shipped. But, they were very evasive and would not provide specific details or give me a date when I could expect the order.

Finally, on 6/26/07, a truck came to deliver the order. However, the shipment only included a headboard and footboard. When I e-mailed Rustic Direct, they said the side rails and wax were being sent separately.

A few days later I requested a tracking number and shipment date and they told me that the side rails were not included in the purchase. This is a bed that has wooden side rails that match the headboard and footboard. A standard bedframe will not attach to it. When I viewed pictures of the bed online, the entire bed was shown, and there were no side rails available for purchase separately.

I filed a complaint with the BBB and found out that I was not the only customer who had experienced problems with this company. My husband ended up building side rails for the bed because we didn't want to buy anything else from Rustic Direct. To this day, over 9 months since the order was placed, I sill have not received the wax.
