I ordered a bedroom set from Roomstore and agreed to a delivery date. To my surprise I got a phone call to confirm a delivery date that was different from the one already scheduled in the store. When I asked why the date had changed, I was told that I had been the one who requested a different date!!! What???!!! No I didn't. The person told me that that was the information they had. They showed up on the rescheduled date during the agreed window. However, while they were assembling the bed, I noticed that the paperwork said that the bed rails were temporary and that they would bring the actual rails on another day. I asked the delivery men about it and they said they didn't know anything about it. Sure enough, the rails were not the ones that had been in the showroom with the wooden slats.

I called the office and they said that I had been informed about it ahead of time. What???!!! Nope! I was now told there was nothing they could do and that they would call to schedule a delivery time for the rails. I said I did not have the time to wait for a second delivery window but they said they could not give me a specific delivery time, even though it was their fault.

I then drove down to the showroom to find out what was going on. My salesman, Rob, acted like he didn't know me and kept telling me to calm down and kept asking me what was the way forward. I met with the sales manager who apologized and said he would give me credit to my credit card for the delivery fee. That credit is yet to show up on my account 6 months later, so he lied to me!

I then had to wait for few days before they came with the rails. (Meanwhile my daughter mattress and boxspring where suspended on the wrong rails without any support under, so I didn't let her sleep in the bed.) I now asked them to take away the wrong rails after they put the correct ones, and the guys said they had no orders to take away those rails so couldn't take them.

I will never ever enter The Roomstore again and I have told everyone I know to stay away. I have also cut up their credit card. Not only they did give me shoddy delivery service but the manager lied to me when he said they had applied a $50 credit to my account.
