Mystic Custom Pools And Spas
Mystic, Did not Deliver as promised... And has now closed their doors!

Unfortunately I didn't do enough research before selecting this company to build my pool.

The company did not begin work on schedule as agreed to (they blamed it on permits). Convenient, except when I started complaining the permits miraculously came through in a matter of days. Work began in March, I was repeatedly promised that there would be no problem having the pool finished my mid-May. This date continuously slipped, Mid-June, then Mid-July then The entire summer passed, along with several kids' birthdays and still no pool.

The project manager was never present during any of the major phases of construction; I found myself on more than one occasion talking requirements directly with the sub-contractors. Furthermore, several items when finally completed, were not completed satisfactorily and on top of that there was always construction debris left behind.

Now it is mid-October and I was just informed last Friday from the plumbing sub-contractor that Mystic Pools has closed their doors and that I am responsible for any further work necessary to correct issues with my yet to be completed pool.

Should this company [in some fashion] somehow re-emerge as a pool contractor do NOT do business with them. The owner is [or was] Mike Jurado (Cell: 370.6454). His second, and the project manager for my pool, is/was Jim Owen (Cell: 390-9450).
