Refuse to Pay!

Beware to all employees working in the field! Eventually you will not get paid! I am not the first one who found out the hard way, only the one who is reporting it here. The owner of this company, Keith, means well, but lets his wifes greed get in the way of paying for work completed! People with paychecks over $1000 are the ones most likely to be affected. It will start with, "oh you can't cash that check at the bank because we don't have the funds to cover it", or "you can only deposit that paycheck, you can't cash it", or "here's your check, but you have to hold it until you get the next check because I had to make a payment to a different subcontractor who hasn't been able to cash a check in the past month!" As far as I know, none of the office employees have had any trouble, but they also don't make much. Also, field employees are supposed to be re-imbursed for fuel and material expenses, but you have to turn your receipts in to get paid on them! When I threatened to file a lawsuit with the labor board I was immediately fired. I was eventually paid, but not until they had consulted with an attorney who told them they had to pay me. I have not received re-imbursment for my fuel costs because they said that if I file a civil suit, they will say that they can't find any of my receipts. I suggest to any future employees to hold the receipts until they are ready to cut you your check!!!

This company has had many lawsuits filed against them for illegally entering properties that had too many personal items inside. They also don't perform the work properly and cut corners to maximize profits at the banks' and mortgage companies' loss. They bill for work done sub-standard or not even done at all! I know first-hand! I would arrive at a property and call in with what I had found or problems I thought should be resolved and would be told over and over again to just dismiss it or manipulate pictures to show action had been taken or to make it look like more work had been done than actually had.

It is really too bad because this company could be so much more, but like I stated earlier, the owners just want to pocket as much money as possible without any regard for the future of the company.
