Homes that fall apart this should be their advertising campain Ripoff

We purchased a, should i say home, from oakwood holmes in 1998 and from the start of the whole process it was a mess. We were charged for insurance that we did not need but being young and ready to move into a home of our own we wanted to hurry up and get moved in so we signed some papers and screwed up. I own my own land about two acres and they told me i would half to use the land as a down payment on our home. Because my credit was not established enough for a loan of this amount. Well i did not want to do this because the land is paid for and i did not want to risk putting up my land.
Well the sales man i believe his first name was hank assured me that i could call oakwood acceptance and tell them to take the land of the note after about six payments because they are not in the land buisness and that would be about my down payment after six payments. Well i learned a lot of lessons from my experiance with these jerks, lessons that any hard working americanshould not have to live with. Its amazing reading all of the other storys of complaints that have been posted on this site my ac unit is ruining my floor
in the laundry room, my floors also are warping in places, the frames on some of the doors are messed up, my trim throughout the house is falling apart, and they never have took my land off the loan which was paid for. I have three kids and to do these repairs on my own is pretty much not an option right now. Well i just wish these people who screwed us out of our hard earned money would have to walk a mile in our shoes for once, they took advantage of my ignorance at that time of my life so if a lawsuit can be brought against this corporation for the way they have cheated people all the better.
