Fridge broke within the month!

My roommates and I bought this $350 fridge from this mom/pop company. They convinced us to pay cash (which was our own fault) and gave us a 3 year warranty. The fridge broke within the month, and this company refused to fix it because we did not have our receipt. The mechanic even said he had remembered selling us the fridge but he would not fix it. He offered to sell us another fridge for a "good price."

It's really terrible because he even admitted to selling the fridge to us within the short time frame yet he refused to fix it. So pretty much, it was not a question of where we bought it and when, but simply we could not legally document the purchase so he knew he could screw us out of fixing the fridge. What a terrible company and family owned business. They thrive on ripping people off and selling lemons.

We even offered to pay for the repairs but he probably knew it was unsalvageable because he did not oblige. This company is horrible and no one should shop here
