Ripoff horrible service policies and shipping rates

I attempted to place an order at theservicecenter.net for drip irrigation products a few days ago. The total was only $13.00 and weight of the items were three (3) pounds. When I went to check out, the shipping from Arizona to Southern California was calculated at $26.30 & UNBELIEVABLE!

Of course I cancelled my order because I thought it was a mistake. I calculated again and sure enough shipping was $26.30.

RETURN POLICY

The Service Centers return policy on Omni Water Filters is that if a product is defective it is the responsibility of the customer to ship the defective product back. If the product is determined not to be defective a 15% re-stocking charge may be applied. If the product is defective the product will be replaced and the customer will be charged a shipping charge to have the product returned to his location. The customer is responsible for all shipping charges on defective products or returned products that the customer does not want.

The return policy is ridiculous. They are saying that if they send you a defective part YOU must pay for shipping back to them AND pay for them to ship the 'replacement' product back to you.

Another thing I noticed is, that they are displaying the BBB logo but if you click on it, it opens a BLANK page

When I contacted them, this is the response I received:

I guess you will not be purchasing from our web site. What happens if you purchase a product at Home Depot and get home you find out it is defective.
Does Home Depot pay you to return the product to the store and pay for your gas money back home.

God, this oerson has a lot to learn and guess he will learn the hard way.

I would recommend you stay away from this shyster company.

Their are many more stores that sell the same products that are more than fair with their shipping rates and return policies
