USELESS waste of 435.00! American Home Sheild warranty covers nothing important!

I purchased a home in December. At settlement, we decided to get the home warranty. We were told that the warranty covers any problems with anything, the warranty covered any issues should they arise. We wish we had not even gotten it. It was a complete waste of money, and actually its very upsetting! That warranty was ease of mind, to help us in our first home purchase! WE WERE WRONG!!!

Here are our list of problems, some are problems that we noticed the first week, some are just now coming to light...

1.) Air Conditioner makes crazy noises when it comes on, sounds like a train getting ready to come through the back of the house.

2.) Air Conditioning ductwork under house was not hooked up to five of the ten outlets was not even hooked up, they were just laying under the house pumping nice warm air under the house for all the local mice, bugs etc., a house party for them if you will, and of course now that we are in the summertime, it was nice and cool under there. Luckily we have no such rodents, as maybe it was a invitation only club.

3.) Leaking pipes in the wall in the bathroom wall... I dont think I have to really express my feelings on this one.

4.) And my favorite, the foundation under our house, when the air conditioning system (that was newly installed right before the home purchase) was installed, the installer (s) busted through the foundation wall at the end of the house in order to access the addition area (also done before the purchase). Yes, i said busted through... Taking out the main support for the girder beam under the house. Great so now our house is sinking on this end of the house, about 4" lower than before.

5.) All the windows in the house dont lock. And two of them will slam down on your hand.

All of this according to AHS... Not covered under section 2 article 7988 guideline 4 grid 6... Whatever.

nothing they have will cover this... So if our house collapses on our head, oops oh well... Then we hope that our inlaws will atleast get an insurance check upon our death, unless of course that is denied because it should've been covered under our home warranty through AHS!
