Real Estate Rip Offs, non disclosure, surprise fees, what warranty period, & the Condo Assoc. From hell

I live in Orange County California & most of my family lives in Miami.in Dec. 2005 I was looking to buy a 2nd home in Miami on the water with a dock. I found one in North Miami Beach & contacted my realtor to check it out.

He ran it on MLS that showed a dock to be assigned & sent me a printout along with others. I asked him to call the listng agent and verify some things & see if it was available. He called me back & said it was available but not quite completed.

I then called my Sister & Brother in law, whom are prominent Dentists in Miami & own several investment properties in the area. I asked them to go the home, do a walk through for me & give me their advise. They called me from the property & said it looked like a good investment & they liked it. They passed the phone to my realtor & I instructed him to prepare an offer & get it to me for my signature.

We submitted the offer & it was accepted & I sent them nearly $40,000 to open escrow. The rest is a nightmare!

The 1st thing they tried several tricks to take my deposit.
Next, they informed me that I would not be assigned a dock space 2 days before closing, again trying to take my $40.000 or take the dock space so they could have two docks for their boat. Next, They did not honor warranty claims for this new home. Next, the association water was turned off twice totaling 6 months without water for everyones grass (this might be criminal). It goes on & on.

These individuals, through their Companies, have no regard for people & seem to think they can do what they want to whomever they want. My neighbor & his wife next door had attempted to resolve some of these issues with these people only to be harassed, humiliated, & threatened. They are concerned for their safety & have decised to sell their dream home & leave the nightmare.

Well, I'm sure that's been the case until now. I have files a civil law suit in the Miami-Dade Curcuit Court to expose this conspiracy & hold them accountable.

It is amazing to me that people would jeoperdize their integrity, their licensing & livelyhood for a couple fo dollars. I can & will see this one all the way through till Justice is Done! It's not about the money to me, it's the pricipal. Buyers Beware of these Rip Offs!
