Lying dishonest cheating fraudulent ripoff

I went in to buy a particular appliance that I knew they had, the owner talked me into a different appliance and said that if I didn't like it I could return it within thirty days no questions asked for store credit to buy the brand of appliance that I wanted.

I took my new appliance home, used it a couple of times and decided that I really didn't like it. I thought that I was safe because the owner of Levitt's Kitchen Center told me I could return it no questions asked. So when I went back to the store I talked to another sales lady who asked me when I bought it, I had my receipt and she looked at it and said "Oh good, you're within your thirty days." Then she told me that she needed her managers approval to exchange it and that the manager was gone. So I told her I would come back later that day.

I did go back and the owner was there so I went to her and told her I wanted to exchange the appliance under the "30 day no questions asked" policy. She told me that there was no policy like that there, then she said it was a 15 day policy, and then she said that it was too bad there was nothing she could do.

I really felt cheated because the only reason I bought what she wanted me to buy was because she told me there was a 30 day no questions asked return policy. I have waited for years to get this particular appliance, it was expensive, and now I am stuck with an inferior product because this lady, the owner, lied to me.
