Shark rebate ripoff

This company provides very sketchy customer service, and does not honor its rebates. It requires that the original UPC label from the product be returned with the rebate form, then denies having received the UPC label so that it won't have to honor the rebate.

There is no way for the consumer to prove he or she included the UPC, and while there's no way for Euro Pro to prove it did NOT receive the UPC, it just won't pay the rebate. This fraudulent practice should be addressed and stopped by any means necessary.

When I wrote to inquire as to why I had not received my rebate after three months, I received this e-mail correspondence:

Thank you for your recent e-mail.

Unfortunately, at the moment, we do not sell the 2 Liter Deep Fryer
Model: F1052 directly to consumers. For any questions regarding
promotions, must be directed to the original place of purchase.

If we can be of further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact
us.

That is a flat-out lie. This person obviously did not spend even 20 seconds looking into my specific case. Avoid this company at all costs.
