WARENTTY RIP OFF - CHEATING COMPANY doens't stand behind their funiture

Purchased funiture in May and was delivered in June. Called in May to have funiture removed due to the chairs breaking down and very poor quality. Tech came out and aggred that the chairs were broken down and parts were ordered May 1. As of July 13 no parts and no help with their customer service department. Levitz policy at the time of puchase was to take back funiture up to a year after deliver date as this is the same policy they currently have.

I was told that they will only do repairs due to the fact that they filled bankrupcy in October and the new owners will only repair and not honor thier policiy of return within a year of delivery. When you purchase over $3000.00 worth of funiture you except a company as large as Levitz to stand behind the items that it sells and to honor their warrenty as the consumer doesn't know if it is a new owners or old owners.

I don't want the funiture but I guess I am stuck now as they are very unhelpful and rude. I need to get the items out of my house as I have alreay puchased new ones. The items I puchased from Levitz were DeCoro leather sofa, 2 chairs and an ottoman. The items are broken down, the leather is loose from the chairs and I cannot get any body to help. The customer service number the people are rude and unhelpful.

My advise DO NOT EVER buy any items from Levitz. At this point I would even take store credit just to get the funiture out of my house. I had/have a warrenty and the will NOT back it up.
