Ripped me off of almost $900 for services not done. Ripoff Murrels Inlet

This company installed my ponds two years ago. Within a month after installation, the ponds developed a large leak. The installer made a few small attempts to fix the leak but the ponds continued to leak. I made call after call for two months and finally ended up finding and repairing the leak myself.

This spring I paid the installer over $600 to clean the ponds, grade the soil to make certain rainwater did not enter the pond, and look for and repair additional leaks. The installer's helper showed up and did about 2.5 to 3 hours worth of work. He did not clean the gravel but covered up the old gravel with a layer of new gravel, did not remove debris between the rocks, and did not clean the biofalls although he told the installer and myself that he did clean the biofalls.

In addition, the ponds continued to leak. When I complained to the installer about the poor cleaning, the grading of landscaping not being done properly, and leaks, the installer came out and put in more rocks and some packaged mud at one end of the pond. He charged me an additional $160 to add the stones, mud and repair the leaks that should have been repaired when his helper was here.

He did such a poor job of cleaning and repairing the pond. I went around the ponds and cleaned out the debris, repaired three overflow leaks, regraded the soil around the ponds to prevent rainwater from getting in, and repaired areas where the stones had pushed the liner below the soil line. Also, the liner was cut too short at various places, making it difficult and almost impossible to prevent rainwater from pushing mud into the ponds.

And finally, when he installed the pond he made it too shallow for koi to grow. Thus I had to give up my koi fish after just one year because they were too big for the pond.
