I ordered my Windstorm vacuum over the phone. I became suspicious when no total amount was given for my order. I tried calling the 800 customer service number and was put on hold for hours. When I spend a day trying to reach a person I got on the internet and throught the Better Business Bureau found a Corporate office number.

I called the Corporate office number and reached a person and I cancelled my order. I was told it was cancelled, but within 24 hours money was taken out of my account, not for 1 vacuum that I ordered for for 2. I called back and was told the money would be refunded immediately and the vacuum order was cancelled.

I received the vacuums the next week and of course could not get my money refunded. It took numerous calls and many hours to finally get someone to help me with returning the vacuums. One month later the vacuums were returned and I was promised my refund. Week after week I was promised a refund.

Three months later when I still did not have a refund I got angry and contacted a friend who suggested I send a demand letter for my refund or I would take legal action. I wrote this letter and sent it to the Chairman of Igia, Mr. Avi Sivan, Mr. Prem Ramchandani, the Treasurer, Mr. Kurt Streams, the Chief Financial Officer, and Mr. Paul Greenfield, the Gernal Counsel; pgreenfield@igia.com I mailed the letter, emailed the letter, and faxed the letter.

I received a letter in the mail the next week stating my check would be in the mail. I called back and reached Monica and she said that it would be mailed either Monday or Thursday. When I did not receive the letter I called again and no one would talk to me, so I hung up and called and asked for Mr. Paul Greenfield in General Counsel.

I was asked which company I was with and said I was not with one and the girl put me through to him. I talked to Mr. Greenfield and he took my information and said someone would call me back. (I thought, yea right), but I did receive a call from Judy that afternoon and she gave me a tracking number for my check that was sent USPS that same day. I received the check within 2 days.

To get your money back go straight to the top and work through them. Maybe they will staighten the company up. This information is all public information about the company. Don't let them get away with what they are doing.
